Four UF Health researchers awarded grants to tackle Alzheimer’s disease

Ann Horgas, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN, an associate professor in the College of Nursing; Meredith Wicklund, M.D., an assistant professor and former chief of the division of behavioral neurology in the College of Medicine’s department of neurology; Dawn Bowers, Ph.D., a professor with appointments in the College of Public Health and Health Professions’ department of clinical and health psychology and the College of Medicine’s department of neurology; and Linda Cottler, Ph.D., M.P.H., FACE, College of Public Health and Health Professions associate dean for research and the founding chair of the department of epidemiology in PHHP and the College of Medicine, have been awarded nearly $850,000 to study Alzheimer’s disease.
