Apply to the Certificate in Psychiatric Epidemiology

Are you ready to apply to the Department of Epidemiology? All applicants to our certificate programs must apply to and be accepted by the UF Office of Admissions.

Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Satisfactory conduct record

Steps to Apply

Step 1: Complete the UF online Application for Certificate Admissions

  • Apply using either the currently enrolled UF student application or the non-UF student application.
  • Specify the correct program information in the application:
    • Certificate Level: Graduate
    • College: Public Health and Health Professions
    • Certificate Program: Psychiatric Epidemiology
    • Currently enrolled students: Please make sure to select PBH_GCT07-CPE under Concentration.

Step 2: Transcripts Upload and Test Scores

  • Upload official transcripts for each previous degree. Unofficial transcripts are accepted until the official ones arrive, expediting your application processing at the Office of Admissions.
    • International applicants should also upload an unofficial degree certificate for each previous degree received.
    • International applicants should ensure that documents not originally in English are accompanied by a literal English translation.

Electronic transcripts (via Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or eScrip) should be sent to te@admissions.ufl.edu. The Department of Epidemiology doesn’t track submissions to the Office of Admissions. Check your application status on the portal. For inquiries, contact the Office of Admissions at 352-392-1365 or through the contact form.

The application fee is required of all students applying to a certificate program, including current and former UF students.
