NIDA T32 Celebrates 2 Epidemiology PhD Graduates

The NIDA T32 wishes to congratulate two former predoctoral fellows on receiving their doctoral degrees in Epidemiology, officially conferred on Friday, August 9th, at the University of Florida Graduation Ceremony.

Andrew McCabe, MPH, PhD, whose dissertation title was “Exploring Sex Differences in Fentanyl-Involved Nonfatal Overdoses using 911 Dispatch Data,” and mentored by Linda B. Cottler, PhD, MPH, FACE. Dr. McCabe is exploring postdoctoral fellowships and industry positions focusing of drug abuse epidemiology.

Anna Wang, PhD, whose dissertation title was “Examining Patterns of Opioid and Stimulant Use Among Participants from the NDEWS Rapid Street Reporting Study”, mentored by Linda B. Cottler, PhD, MPH, FACE. Dr. Wang plans to explore opportunities in academia and industry, to address convergence of drug use.
