Dr. Cottler begins second term as President of the Board of Directors for the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS)

Linda B. Cottler, Ph.D., MPH, FACE, recently began her second term as President of the Board of Directors for the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS). Founded in 2009 to support the needs of the national Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program. ACTS represents nearly 5,000 members who are involved in academic institutions, industry, philanthropic agencies, and government. They support multi-dimensional, cross-cutting research that encompasses multidisciplinary investigative teams from many different subspecialty areas. Dr. Cottler’s presidency started at the end of the ACTS Annual Conference, Translational Science 2022, and is a two-year appointment. This year’s annual meeting was a tremendous success, with over 5,000 attendees in Washington, DC, with many of them being first-time attendees.

Congratulations to Dr. Cottler on this prestigious opportunity!
