Dr. Linda Cottler has been selected to be a Distinguished Editor for the prestigious NIH Director’s New Innovator Award Program (DP2).
As a member of the Editorial Board, Dr. Cottler will review all applications and the three Stage 1 critiques/reviews. Editorial Board Reviewers will then generate a short statement outlining their views, and the potential significance and impact of the work, along with the chances for success.
The DP2 is for early-stage investigators who propose highly innovative research projects that could have an exceptionally great impact on biomedical or behavioral science, and it is the hope that many new faculty will submit — so this experience could be useful to the department!
