Dr. Chichetto named site investigator with the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS) Miami site

Natalie Chichetto, Ph.D., MSW, Assistant Professor in Epidemiology, will serve as the site investigator for the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS), the longest US observational study of HIV. She will be an internal cohort resource and liaison for those interested in developing their own research concepts using the MWCCS data. She aims to identify important syndemic clusters associated with increased risk for clinical and subclinical cardiovascular diseases and mortality and explore the mechanistic and biological pathways of cardiovascular risk related to behavioral health syndemics amongst those with and without HIV infection across the US.
