Dr. Dongyu Zhang awarded the UF Health Cancer Center Pilot Fund

Research Assistant Professor in Epidemiology, Dongyu Zhang, received funding from the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC) Pilot Program to study the effects of walking exercise intervention to reduce fatigue in older breast cancer survivors. This 2-year pilot trial is supported by the pilot fund in UFHCC with a total budget of $100,000. Dr. Zhang will conduct this project collaboratively with researchers from Institute on Aging. He and his team believe novel interventions should be co-implemented with aerobic exercise to enhance effectiveness and optimally manage fatigue in older breast cancer survivors.
