Are you new to the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) space? Or do you want a refresher on terminology, concepts, and topics as you continue your learning and development in these areas? This workshop aims to provide an introduction to core concepts and topics, as well as help you gain familiarity with the terminology that you will encounter in IDEA or other diversity, equity, and inclusion-related programming. Specifically, this workshop will cover diversity, inclusion, and equity in academia approaches to IDEA efforts, current practices, and more! We will reflect, discuss, and answer questions in a collaborative, supportive environment.
