Dr. Deepthi Varma was selected to attend the Global mHealth Research Training Institute presented by the Fogarty International Center from June 6th-9th on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The training is divided into topics that address the core aspects of global mHealth research, and participants engage in multidisciplinary groups to apply the knowledge gained using a team science approach. The four day retreat will discuss questions like “What problem are you trying to solve?”,” What systems and stakeholders do you need to engage?”, and “How do you analyze the data?”. This is a great opportunity for Dr. Varma to further her research and collaborative skills to enhance her mHealth including her CTSI pilot project.
